IMG is hiring a Production Manager in European Tour Productions to manage the production of Outside Broadcasts of worldwide Golf Events.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Managing arrangements around national/international golf productions on the DP World Tour and other golf ad hoc events.
• Working without direct supervision, comfortable making decisions around escalation of issues or managing them independently.
• Budget preparation, finance reporting and reconciliation of each production.
• Co‑ordinating with suppliers on crew and equipment arrangements based on spec provided.
• Managing all travel and logistics associated with the event.
• Hiring of freelance staff and contractors, negotiating deals.
• Preparing call sheets and overseeing the production of risk assessments.
• Line management.
• Ensure best Health & Safety practices are carried out on site.
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

Unusual Challenges or Circumstances

• Worldwide travel to outside broadcast locations.
• Remote work from IMG Studios where applicable.
• Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate.
• Working in a fast paced environment.

Key Results Areas

• Keep programme on budget and on schedule to include accurate forecasting pre‑production.
• Ensuring all the necessary paperwork, contracts, insurance, risk assessments etc. are all in place for production.

Knowledge and Experience

• Experience of dealing with broadcasters, stakeholders and a range of personnel.
• Previous experience in a similar role within television production.
• Ability to produce a production budget.
• Some knowledge of responsibilities in relation to rights and clearances, production workflows, insurance and health and safety.
• Experience managing junior members of the admin team.
• An understanding of UK TV industry.

Working Conditions:

• This is a permanent position
• This role will be based at Stockley park with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate
• Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
• May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings
• Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule
• Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
