Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an European Chief Technologist to define the strategic direction for a key technology area across Europe, influencing portfolio, partner alignment and customer engagement for growth.

You will lead cross-country teams, shape roadmaps, and present insights to senior leadership, crafting a compelling technology vision and engaging with customers and analysts to strengthen market position.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IT with deep technology knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Ability to develop technology strategy, vision and roadmaps in a complex environment.
• Experience leading via influence in matrix organizations and across virtual teams.
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision and strategy for a key technology area across Europe.
• Identify market shifts, customer needs and competitive trends, translating them into priorities and roadmaps.
• Shape portfolio direction and investment plans with Service Line teams and stakeholders.
• Lead and influence virtual teams to align on strategy, priorities and execution.
• Represent the technology area in European steering discussions and senior leadership forums.
• Create compelling thought leadership and strategic assets that support sales and growth.
