A global manufacturing group is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives across its European operations.

This role serves as the group’s subject matter expert in supplier management—driving consistency, compliance, and excellence in quality, cost, delivery, and service performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leadership teams across multiple business units to align sourcing strategies and implement best‑practice standards.
  • Lead European supplier consolidation, contract negotiations, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent application of sourcing processes, compliance standards, and performance metrics across the group.
  • Drive improvements in supplier quality, delivery, cost, and service while supporting sustainability and regulatory objectives.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to site supply chain teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across regions.
About You
  • 10+ years progressive experience in supply chain leadership within global multi‑site heavy/industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Skilled negotiator with strong commercial and analytical acumen.
  • Able to influence at senior levels and lead cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering; professional certifications (CPSM, CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to European sites as required.
