A global manufacturing group is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives across its European operations.

This role serves as the group s subject matter expert in supplier management- driving consistency, compliance, and excellence in quality, cost, delivery, and service performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leadership teams across multiple business units to align sourcing strategies and implement best-practice standards.
  • Lead European supplier consolidation, contract negotiations, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent application of sourcing processes, compliance standards, and performance metrics across the group.
  • Drive improvements in supplier quality, delivery, cost, and service while supporting sustainability and regulatory objectives.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to site supply chain teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across regions.
About You
  • 10+ years progressive experience in supply chain leadership within global multi-site heavy/ industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Skilled negotiator with strong commercial and analytical acumen.
  • Able to influence at senior levels and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering; professional certifications (CPSM, CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to European sites as required.
