Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the business at international trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings (approx. 60% travel).
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and deliver regular sales performance reports.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and pricing developments to inform strategy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of both short- and long-term sales plans.
Experience & Requirements
Essential
  • Proven experience in international sales, ideally within the industrial automation, electrical, or motor control sectors.
  • Demonstrable success in business development and achieving consistent sales growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand industry trends and align them with business goals.
  • Experience appointing and managing stocking distributors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
  • High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient with CRM systems and standard business software.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (approx. 60%).
Desirable
  • Technical background in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of soft starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs), or related technologies.
  • Multilingual ability to support engagement across European markets.
