Qualifications

• Deep expertise in polyolefins, polymers or petrochemical markets with pricing knowledge.
• Strong commercial judgment and analytical skills to interpret complex information and draw clear conclusions.
• Experience with pricing mechanisms, benchmarks or market intelligence and their role in decision‑making.
• Proven ability to build credibility and strong relationships with senior industry stakeholders and customers.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to translate market developments into actionable insight.
• Confidence representing an organisation externally at conferences, meetings and events.
• A proactive, curious and accountable mindset with drive to understand markets in depth.
• High professionalism, integrity and independence expected of a recognised market authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICIS’ European polyolefins coverage, owning the quality, credibility and impact of our market intelligence and pricing.
• Act as the market authority for European polyolefins, maintaining deep insight into supply, demand, trade flows, pricing dynamics and trends.
• Own industry‑leading price benchmarks, exercising independent judgement to assess market value and ensure transparent pricing.
• Deliver high‑impact analysis and insight that helps customers understand market developments and manage risk.
• Build and develop senior industry relationships across producers, traders, distributors, converters and brand owners.
• Drive thought leadership, identifying themes, risks and opportunities for customers.
• Represent ICIS externally at conferences, customer meetings, webinars and events.
• Shape the future of ICIS’ polyolefins offering and influence product strategy and innovation.
