Job summary

inMusic Brands, Inc. is seeking a Director of People Operations for Europe to advise the US-based executive team on employment, payroll, employee relations, and people operations across Europe.

This high-visibility role blends strategic guidance with hands-on operational ownership, partnering with senior leadership to ensure compliance, manage risk, and support business objectives. It oversees HR across Germany, the UK, and Bulgaria, with emphasis on Germany, and is based in Ash Vale, UK.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience supporting operations across multiple European countries.
• Strong understanding of German employment law and practices.
• Experience managing payroll directly or with external providers.
• Proven ability to handle complex employee relations matters.
• Experience advising senior executives and leaders.
• Fluent English communication in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Executive Advisory: Serve as principal European people and employment adviser to executive leadership.
• Employee Relations & Labor Relations: Lead employee relations across Europe and guide disciplinary processes, grievances, investigations, and risk.
• HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR operations across Germany, the UK, and Bulgaria; maintain policies and onboarding/offboarding processes; ensure compliance.
• Payroll Management: Oversee payroll operations across European entities and coordinate with payroll providers and finance teams; ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor legislation, ensure local compliance, support audits and regulatory inquiries; develop practical risk frameworks.
