Job summary

Turner & Townsend in London seeks a Project Manager to lead and support large-scale data centre construction projects for prominent technology clients across Europe. You’ll manage delivery from inception through commissioning, liaising with clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires handling governance, planning, procurement, and KPI-driven performance, with responsibility for budgets and change control in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.
• Professionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering, or architecture.
• Has obtained chartered status or on path to achieving this.
• Understanding of full project lifecycle from conception to post-project review.
• Excellent knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Design, management, or construction experience in residential, office, fit-outs, or health & education environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advising at the project conception stage to achieve client objectives.
• Establishing overall success criteria: time, cost, technical, performance.
• Planning and managing quality, safety, health and environment.
• Establishing governance, processes and systems for the project.
• Producing a detailed project plan and advising on resources.
• Leading cross-functional project team and procurement.
• Applying KPI-based performance improvements and change control.
• Monitoring project finances and reporting to client.
• Interfacing with client and consultants at all stages.
