Job summary

Linde plc in Swindon, United Kingdom, is seeking an European Credit Controller to own Accounts Receivable across two French sites (Mercus & Toulouse). You will manage country collections, assess credit risk, and set up new customers while coordinating with sales, service, and finance teams.

You will lead debtor meetings, report weekly aging and projections, and support month‑end closes and reconciliations with AR/GL. Fluent French and Italian are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control or AR across multiple ledgers.
• French and Italian language skills are required.
• Accounting qualification or degree in finance.

Responsibilities

• Own AR for 2 French sites and AR ledgers covering Mercus & Toulouse.
• Manage collections of country receivables and assess credit risk.
• Set up new customers and conduct debtor aging meetings with teams.
• Report weekly debtor data and bad debt projections.
• Support month-end close and reconciliations with GL and AR.
• Perform weekly GL uploads and partner across the European SSC.
