We are currently recruiting for a Europe Reporting Accountant to join our established and experienced Finance team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
As a member of the Europe Accounting Team, the purpose of this role is to gather, validate and report financial information in order to ensure that the associated reporting deliverables are accurate and produced on time to the required internal and/or external standards.
You will drive best in class operational effectiveness, process efficiency and consistent high standards of data accuracy against tight deadlines fully utilizing networking and benchmarking opportunities. You will have considerable stakeholder management skills to share insight in a clear and concise fashion. You will maintain a solid financial control culture.
You will be responsible for delivering high quality outputs in the most effective ways whilst ensuring your own personal and professional development whilst ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the financial statements and related systems to meet Internal and External reporting requirements.
You will have proven experience of managing complex financial reporting procedures whilst consistently achieving accurate and on-time delivery.
Understanding of IFRS, relevant law, regulation and/or listing requirements to ensure the UK accounting and reporting is compliant would be essential for the role.
You will be an experienced and qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) finance professional with relevant previous experience in a limited company and/or regulated business.
