Job summary

JLL in London, Madrid or Frankfurt seeks an Analyst for its Strategic Capital Solutions team. You'll independently execute standard analytical work, support joint ventures, large portfolio sales, and corporate M&A in an investment-banking style environment.

You'll build and maintain financial models, develop market context, and communicate clearly with the deal team. The role requires strong modeling, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision across Europe.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1 year of demonstrated experience in investment banking, or corporate finance, or real estate capital markets, or equivalent internship/analyst experience.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities - comfortable building and maintaining financial and valuation models under established methodologies.
• Sound understanding of financial statements and how operational metrics drive property value.
• Demonstrated ability to apply established procedures to resolve standard analytical problems.
• Excellent organisational abilities and reliable self-management.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
• Expert proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel occasionally throughout Europe for client meetings and site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Analytical Execution: Independently execute standard analytical work to produce reliable deliverables.
• Transaction Support: Assist JV, large portfolio sales, and corporate M&A workstreams with clear internal communication.
• Financial Modelling: Build and maintain models for portfolio sales, JVs, and structured equity.
• Market and Investor Awareness: Develop understanding of investor motivations and market context.
• Problem Solving: Apply procedures to resolve standard analytical problems and escalate complex issues.
• Internal Communication: Maintain clear communication with the deal team; possible client exposure.
• Self-Management: Demonstrate reliable self-management with minimal supervision.
• Business Contribution: Integrate ESG and technology considerations into deliverables.
