Ethics & Compliance Manager

Location: Sunbury-On-Thames (London), United Kingdom

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the deugro group Compliance Management System such as: (1) Code of Ethics and Compliance, (2) Anti-Bribery and Corruption Compliance Policy, (3) Risk Assessment and Mitigation, (4) Third Party Management, and (5) Raising Awareness.
  • Drive the compliance training program in terms of relevance, applicability, and timeliness, and ensure it is targeted to mitigate risk and meet obligations.
  • Manage the roll-out and development of e-learnings as required throughout the year.
  • Own employee risk assessments and drive risk based training.
  • Produce and conduct F2F training content and conduct training for all levels.
  • Drive deugro group's compliance communications by creating relevant and engaging content for internal and external use.
  • Produce engaging and relevant content in deugro group's intranet, reviewing engagement and improving content periodically.
  • Develop internal and external corporate identity for the Legal and Compliance department and act as the primary liaison to the Marketing and Communications team.
  • Manage and engage the Local Ethics Officer (LEO) network across the group and harness their involvement in developing the CMS further.
  • Advise cross-functional corporate stakeholders and business units on a broad range of ethics and compliance issues and identify creative, compliant solutions to achieve business objectives.
  • Support ongoing compliance reporting to the Presidents and C-Suite.
  • Support continuous improvement of CMS in order to drive compliant behaviour across the deugro group.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and/or audits to ensure that compliance procedures remain easy, manageable and well integrated into everything we do.
  • Ensure the CMS is easily accessible and available in multiple languages.
  • Support the implementation of the Compliance Risk Assessment Framework.
  • Drive periodic reviews of all compliance policies and procedures to identify and close any gaps.
  • Generally, assist with ad hoc requests and questions from the business as needed.
  • Support other Compliance Department initiatives, including implementation of Compliance Risk Assessments, Gifts & Hospitality Spot Checks, and Compliance Reporting.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Compliance Certification
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and controls (i.e. FCPA, UK Bribery Act, GDPR, Antitrust, AML)
  • Drafting, reviewing and implementing internal policies affecting the company operations and processes
  • Training and communications, development and management and risk management.
  • Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
