Job summary

TP ICAP Group in Belfast seeks a Trade Management Analyst to ensure timely processing of trades from front office capture through TM systems to clients. You will support ETD/NGU workflows, deliver accurate confirmations, and maintain data integrity across internal platforms.

You should excel under pressure with strong attention to detail and clear communication with desks, brokers, clients and accounts receivable. Hybrid work arrangements are available in Belfast.

Responsibilities

• Process trades from front-office capture to TM systems in a timely manner.
• Manage delivery of trades to clients, venues, clearers and exchanges.
• Allocate executed trades promptly and liaise with desks, brokers and clients.
• Provide front-line support to Brokers and resolve trade queries.
• Ensure intraday liquidity and exposure are managed and invoicing is accurate.
• Undertake UAT and testing for system/process changes.

We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world’s most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist.Role OverviewThe Trade Management (TM) team process transactions for the Name Give Up (NGU) business as well as Futures: Exchanged Traded Derivatives (ETD). This role will be supporting the Trade Management ETD business.As a TM Analyst, you are responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all trades, from internal front end trade capture systems, through the TM systems, and then out to the clients via various delivery mechanisms, following established guidelines, when identifying and resolving problems, and using good judgement to refer more complex issues to senior colleagues, where appropriate.You must be able to identify and contribute towards any process changes that will improve the level of service and control that Operations provides, in its first line of defence capacity. You must have a broad knowledge of the wholesale financial markets, and may require more specific knowledge in relation to specific asset classes, where necessary.You must have a basic understanding of the Operations, Global Broking strategy, and work collaboratively, as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.Role ResponsibilitiesEnsure that trades arrive from front office trade capture systems into the TM systems in a timely mannerEnsure that all trades are managed efficiently including delivery of trades to clients, reporting venues, or clearing houses/exchanges, as appropriateDeliver & manage the prompt allocation of executed transactions; liaising with desks, brokers, clients, clearer & agents for prompt clearing & subsequent reportingEnsure intraday liquidity and exposure are managed timelyResolve any queries in relation to the non-delivery of electronic confirmations to a clientProvide oversight of various external systems/platforms, utilised by TPICAPEnsure data integrity within TM systems by validating against records received from 3rd party brokersMonitor trade flows via the in-house exception monitoring toolsUndertake intra-day/month actions to ensure that trades are processed, reconciled & invoiced correctlyUndertake UAT and general testing of systems and processes as and when they change, including out of hours support as required, to support the checkout of weekend system upgradesLiaising with Brokers to manage trade exceptionsProvide front-line support to BrokersLiaising with Accounts receivable to ensure clients are billed correctlyLiaising with Clients to resolve trade queriesFulfil any additional ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the businessExperience / CompetencesEssentialDemonstrates excellent attention to detail, possesses high organisation skills & a proactive approachDemonstrates strong analytical ability and problem solving skillsDemonstrates the ability to work effectively in a high pressure environmentHighly effective written & oral communication skills; adapts communication style to suit audienceShows evidence of being comfortable working in fast paced or pressured environmentsSkilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)DesiredKnowledge of financial marketsPrevious experience in a similar organisationBand & LevelProfessional, 4#LI-Hybrid #LI-ENT #NIJobsNot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
