Job summary

A successful construction consultancy in Lincoln is seeking an experienced Estimator to deliver competitive tendering for projects up to £10m. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of refurbishment and new build processes, as well as proficiency in Microsoft tools and estimating software. Qualifications

• Candidates must have a building background with extensive knowledge of refurbishment and new build construction.
• Must possess understanding of CDM 2015 health and safety requirements.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Project, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Traditional and Design & Build tenders.
• Prepare budgets, estimates and cost plans.
• Conduct internal tender adjudications and external client presentations.

Skills

Building background

Knowledge of refurbishment and new build construction

Understanding of CDM 2015 Health and Safety requirements

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Project, Excel

Experience with estimating software packages

High attention to detail

Innovative problem-solving abilities

Education

Higher Education qualification (HNC, Diploma, Degree) in a construction-related subject
