About the role

As an Estimator, you'll be visiting our customers’ homes to conduct full on‑site surveys for home improvement projects. You'll serve as a brand ambassador, providing customers with a world‑class experience using our innovative systems and materials, helping them feel reassured about the entire project process. In addition to your contractual pay, work between 22:00‑06:00 attracts a night premium of £4.00 per hour (this also applies to existing partners enrolled in Enhanced Hours Premium).

• Salary – £27,000 - £40,000
• Contract type – Permanent
• Location – South West (primarily Bristol and Cheltenham; occasional travel within the South West)
• Hours – Full time, including Saturdays on a rota

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers’ homes and local service buildings, providing accurate and reliable estimates for home improvement projects.
• Communicate estimates clearly and help customers meet their expectations, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Obtain customer sign‑off for the plans you produce.
• Maintain the John Lewis service standard throughout projects.
• Use your product knowledge to help customers find exactly what they need.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement and greater efficiency.
