Job summary

Options Resourcing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of an established commercial HVAC and air-conditioning contractor for an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join their Bromsgrove team. The role covers taking ownership of projects from enquiry through to completion, preparing accurate quotations, site surveys and selecting appropriate HVAC solutions.

You will interpret mechanical drawings, manage procurement, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, monitor costs and margins, and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC estimating, project management or a combined Estimator/PM role.
• Strong knowledge of split and multi-split air-conditioning systems.
• Experience with VRV/VRF systems.
• Good understanding of ventilation, AHUs and HRUs.
• Experience working on commercial HVAC projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong estimating and commercial awareness.
• Experience pricing Labour, materials and subcontract packages.
• Good supplier and subcontractor management skills.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Customer-focused approach with confidence to deal with clients.

HVAC Estimator / Project Manager

Location: Bromsgrove

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + Bonus

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing commercial HVAC and air-conditioning contractor for an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join their team.

With around 30 years' experience delivering commercial air-conditioning and ventilation solutions, the company works across a wide range of projects involving split and multi-split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, HRUs and ventilation, managing projects from initial survey and quotation through to installation, commissioning and handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys a role combining estimating, technical knowledge, project management and customer contact.

As an Estimator / Project Manager, you will take ownership of commercial HVAC projects from the initial enquiry through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

About You

We are looking for an experienced HVAC professional with a strong background in commercial air-conditioning and ventilation.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in HVAC estimating, project management or a combined Estimator / PM role
• Strong knowledge of split and multi-split air-conditioning systems
• Experience with VRV / VRF systems
• Good understanding of ventilation, AHUs and HRUs
• Experience working on commercial HVAC projects
• The ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
• Strong estimating and commercial awareness
• Experience pricing labour, materials and subcontract packages
• Good supplier and subcontractor management skills
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• A customer-focused approach with the confidence to deal directly with clients

The Package

• £35,000 - £50,000 salary, depending on experience
