Job summary

Anderson Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Estimator for a permanent, office-based role in Gloucester. You will work with the sales team to manage incoming tenders, prepare quotations and ensure project requirements are understood. No prior estimating experience is essential as full training is provided; an electrical background or construction experience is highly desirable.

You will handle multiple tenders and maintain CRM records. Hours are Mon-Thu 8:30am–4:30pm, Fri 8:30am–2:30pm.

Qualifications

Job description

Our forward-thinking client is looking for an Estimator to join their down-to-earth and dedicated team. This is a permanent, office-based role in Gloucester, offering a supportive working environment, full training and the opportunity to develop your career within a growing business.

Working closely with the sales team, you will manage incoming tenders, prepare accurate quotations and liaise with clients to ensure project requirements are fully understood. You will oversee multiple tenders at a time, ensuring deadlines are met and a smooth handover through to order.

Previous estimating experience isn't essential, as full training will be provided. However, an electrical background or previous experience within the construction industry is highly desirable. We're looking for someone with a good understanding of the industry who is keen to learn and develop their estimating skills.

Hours

Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:30am – 2:30pm

Salary

£30,000 – £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus additional earning potential once fully trained, a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
