Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Estimator for Manchester, specialising in Civils/Water projects with an up-to £80,000 salary. The role focuses on leading estimates, developing tender strategies, and coordinating a team of estimators across water and civils works.

You will establish estimating frameworks, analyse risks, and contribute to business development. Experience in shafts, tunnelling, pipelines and MEICA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Estimating and/or operational experience in shafts, tunnelling, pipeline, MEICA, rail civils and groundworks.
• Proficient with tender build-ups.

Responsibilities

• Lead Estimates on Water projects on the AMP 8 Framework.
• Undertake estimates in accordance with Company procedures.
• Lead team of estimators for larger tenders, mentoring and developing junior estimators.
• Identify opportunities and risks during the tender process.
• Maintain tender estimate file.
• Provide indicative pricing support for business development.
• Present estimates at adjudication.
• Prepare an estimating adjudication pack.

My client are a Tier one civil engineering and infrastructure specialists in the UK, with over 40 years of experience in providing design, civil engineering and maintenance services working across multiple sectors, including:

• Water
• Transport
• Built environment
• Energy
