Job summary

A specialist subcontractor in Leeds is seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in dry lining to join their dynamic and growing team. You will prepare competitive tenders, review specifications, and liaise with suppliers. The ideal candidate has strong numerical skills and proficiency in estimating software, and will play a key role in both commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the dry lining or interior fit-out sector.
• Strong understanding of dry lining systems, labour, and material costs.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit competitive tenders for dry lining and interior fit-out packages.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing.
• Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits when required.
• Work closely with senior management to ensure smooth handover to delivery teams.
• Maintain awareness of current market rates and industry trends.
