Estimator - High-End Residential Construction

Salary: £60,000-£75,000

Location: London

Our client is a London-based chartered construction company specialising in high-end residential refurbishment and bespoke building completion and finishing works. Operating as a multi-faceted contractor, they provide a tailored, one-stop service for complex residential projects, from design coordination and planning consents through to full renovation, extension, interior fit-out and turnkey delivery.

With a growing portfolio of premium London homes and a strong pipeline of specialist refurbishment projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team.

The Role

• Preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders for refurbishment, fit-out and bespoke residential projects
• Analysing drawings, specifications and project documentation
• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
• Supporting pre-construction planning and value engineering
• Working closely with project managers, quantity surveyors and design teams
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and cost database accuracy

About You

• Proven experience as an Estimator within residential refurbishment, fit-out, or specialist construction
• Strong understanding of construction methods, trades, and procurement routes
• Excellent numerical, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work across multiple tenders and deliver to deadlines
• Experience working with subcontractor and consultant teams
• A detail-driven approach and a commitment to quality
