Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Estimator to develop detailed cost estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure in the UK. You will review tender docs, drawings and client requirements, then build cost models and pricing schedules while coordinating with engineering, procurement and operations teams.

This role emphasizes risk assessment and cost optimisation across bids. Strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and stakeholder management are essential, with experience in NEC/contracts

Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience within the UK water sector.
• Experience pricing water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of relevant construction methodologies and delivery practices.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to assess project risks and opportunities.
• Experience managing supplier and subcontractor pricing exercises.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Here’s What You’ll Need

• Proven estimating experience within the UK water sector.
• Experience pricing water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.
