Overview

Caralex Recruitment Limited are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded housebuilder based in Buckinghamshire who are looking to appoint an Estimator.

The company is looking for an experienced Estimator who is comfortable in preparing and controlling budgets, maintaining a build cost database, and producing cost plans for new build residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Work within the commercial team, collaborating with the land team on land appraisals for potential sites and with the sales team on specification and pricing.

Requirements / You will have either worked for:

• a housebuilding development company in an estimating or quantity surveying role, working on land appraisals, cash flows, budgets and costs and familiar with preparing information for the quantity surveying & buying teams.
• an affiliated industry such as a groundworks or bricklaying subcontractor, a cost consultancy / PQS firm or for a social housing contractor and have good estimating software experience.
