Job description

Kenton Black are recruiting for an Estimator. The client is a well-established contractor specialising in the installation of artificial sports surfaces across Scotland, with projects ranging from school facilities to full-size stadia.

In your new role, as an Estimator, you will be based out of the Cumbernauld office and responsible for the commercial and estimating function of sports pitch installation projects. You will identify new opportunities, lead on tender returns, price works, place subcontractor orders, and manage monthly valuations and reporting. You will work closely with the delivery team to ensure commercial accuracy and support project success.

This is a permanent role offering a salary circa £40k–£50k, with pension, car and private health cover. The position would suit someone from a Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering background. The client is also open to considering less experienced candidates looking to develop in this field, with a 6-month handover period provided by the outgoing estimator.
