Job summary

Sunblink in Bedford is seeking an Estimator to prepare cost estimates for metalwork projects. You will work closely with clients, design teams and project managers to ensure accurate and cost-effective solutions.

The role requires proven estimator experience in architectural/structural metalwork, strong drawing/spec understanding, and excellent negotiation and communication skills. Bedford-based, on-site position with pension and wellbeing benefits.

SALARY: 30,000 - 55,000

LOCATION: Bedford

We are currently on the search for an experienced Estimator for a bedfordshire based manufacturer of structural steelwork, balconies, staircases, and more, seeks an experienced estimator to join our team. You'll play a pivotal role in preparing accurate cost estimates for metalwork projects, collaborating closely with clients, design teams, and project managers. Key responsibilities include analysing project requirements, quantifying resources, obtaining competitive pricing, and contributing to cost-effective solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in architectural and structural metalwork.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
