Estimating Manager - Construction

Office Based

We are recruiting an Estimating Manager to join a growing construction business, a truly exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimating Manager to take the lead in shaping our estimating function.

As our business expands, as the Estimating Manager you will manage a team of six Estimators, overseeing tenders for new build and refurbishment projects across the public sector, with values from £100k to £10m.

What You will Do
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six Estimators.
  • Prepare and review tenders and cost plans, ensuring bids are accurate, competitive, and commercially sound.
  • Work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high quality submissions.
  • Drive improvements in estimating processes and team performance.
  • Report directly to senior management and influence strategy for the estimating department.
About You
  • Proven track record as an Estimating Manager or Senior Estimator in construction.
  • Strong experience in new build and refurbishment projects.
  • Public sector experience is essential.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tenders and meeting tight deadlines.
