Siemens is seeking an Estimating Engineer in the UK, offering hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office. You will support customer projects from enquiry to quotation, interpreting electrical drawings and coordinating with engineering, operations and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification such as ONC, HNC, BTEC, Degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Understanding of a manufacturing, engineering or technical sales environment.
• A genuine interest in developing a career within estimating and commercial engineering.
• Strong electrical engineering knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and applications.
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics, technical drawings and specifications.
• Previous experience in estimating, quotations, proposals, bid support or tendering activities, including an understanding of project costing and commercial considerations.
• Knowledge of factory-built assemblies, switchgear, electrical distribution products or wider electrical infrastructure applications.
• Experience using CAD or electrical design software.
• Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet customer deadlines.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsabilités

• Reviewing customer drawings, specifications and project requirements to develop technical solutions.

Are you an electrical engineering professional looking for your next challenge?

As an Estimating Engineer, you'll work as part of a collaborative team supporting customer projects from initial enquiry through to quotation and delivery. You'll work with a variety of stakeholders across the business, developing valuable technical, commercial and project experience along the way.

What You'll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For
