Job summary

Estates Support Worker (higher level)

To work as part of a managed team. Work to be of both complex and non‑complex nature, responsible for minor repairs and routine planned preventative maintenance activities, as directed by management, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures, and taking all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment.

The work does involve lone working which requires candidates to be able to identify various alarms and working in restricted places, it is therefore essential that candidates read the Job Description and are able to undertake all tasks required.

Main duties of the job

To carry out tasks reactive and ppm tasks issued by the team leader and also when required assist other team members in carrying out repairs and assists Tradesperson who are undertaking mechanical/electrical installations and/or enabling works, associated with a range of engineering systems.
