A healthcare trust in the South West is seeking an experienced Estates Project Manager to support strategic projects in delivering quality care. The role involves managing multiple projects, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with Trust strategy. Candidates should have significant estates-related experience, ideally with project management qualifications. In return, the Trust offers a competitive salary, development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWAST) provides compassionate, quality, and timely emergency and urgent care to everyone in the South West 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We deliver this over 10,000 square miles of England and occupy over 100 buildings. These buildings play a vital role for our colleagues and partners so that we deliver the best care when you need us most.
To help us do this, we are looking for an experienced Estates Project Manager to support our existing Estates Project Manager. This key position in the SWAST Estates and Facilities Team reports to the Head of Estates and Facilities and works on delivering strategic projects that enable the trust to deliver a future‑proof and fit‑for‑purpose estate.
This is a varied role with stakeholder engagement at all levels, both internal and external. The Estates Project Manager will lead and deliver projects as a Project Manager and also lead design teams as a client’s representative to manage client interests, cost oversight and reporting.
The role will provide solid customer care and insight into how to ensure projects are kept on track and meet end‑user requirements in line with Trust strategy. The role can be based at either Exeter HQ or our Bristol office.
Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates with electrical experience or an electrical background.

If you embody our values of one team, compassionate, and innovative and are looking to make a real difference to people's lives, then we would love to hear from you.
