Job summary

Arcus Solutions in London is recruiting an Estates Operative to deliver planned preventive and reactive estates maintenance for our multi-site clients. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and be part of an award-winning FM provider with access to a National Training Academy.

Salary is £29,245 per annum, with door-to-door pay, 25 days leave plus bank holidays, overtime opportunities, a 4% bonus (targets), a company van with fuel card, and smart equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driver’s licence.
• Experience in a customer-facing, time-pressured environment.
• Desirable: recognised fabric maintenance qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventive and reactive estates & maintenance services to multi-site clients.
• Sweep access roads and common areas; clean bin storage, signage boards, and toilet blocks.
• Power wash forecourts and pedestrian areas; litter removal; waste removal; weed and vegetation control.
• Maintain soft landscaping and assist with general estate upkeep.

• Salary: £29,245 per annum, depending on experience

• 4% bonus, subject to achievement of targets (historically paid out)

The successful candidate will be required to complete planned and reactive works as directed by the Managing Engineer, safely and to the required standard.

Providing a mobile, efficient and professional service that meets the client's requirements is an essential part of this role and some of the key duties & responsibilities are below:

• Sweep access roads/common areas
• Clean bin storage area, signage boards, communal toilet block, windows
• Power wash forecourt areas & pedestrian footways/brick/concrete/tarmac
• Litter Picking
• Waste Removal
• Mechanically sweep & washdown roadway
• Cut back foliage from adjacent property & fencing
• Maintain soft landscaping areas, grassed areas and clear weeds & vegetation
• Weed kill some areas such as access roads
