Job summary

Protocol is seeking an Estates Group Decorator to maintain and improve the appearance of College buildings across multiple campuses. You will perform painting and decorating, surface preparation, finishes and vinyl coverings, and assist with decorating schedules and maintenance planning.

The role requires working safely under Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, with regular travel between campuses and occasional evening or weekend work.

Job description

Reporting to the Director of Estates, Facilities, Health & Safety and Security, the Estates Group Decorator is responsible for maintaining and improving the appearance of College buildings across multiple campuses.

Key duties include carrying out painting and decorating works, surface preparation, applying finishes and vinyl coverings, planned and reactive maintenance, and supporting general site upkeep. The role also involves developing decorating schedules, working safely in line with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, and undertaking work at height when required. Regular travel between campuses and occasional evening and weekend working is required.
