Job Summary

Are you interested in working as a full-time administrator on a fixed‑term contract for 18 months to help cover a period of increased activity while we implement a new timetabling and room booking system?

Role Description

This is a varied and interesting role in a friendly, professional team and will use your strong administrative and organisational skills to plan, prioritise and manage a range of work activities. The role sits in the Systems and Administration team within Estate & Facilities Management and is based at our Moulsecoomb campus.

Responsibilities
  • Provide an administrative service across the department, including financial administration, information and data management, systems administration and handling enquiries received through different routes.
  • Provide a friendly and efficient reception service, deal with telephone enquiries and manage various departmental email accounts alongside the other departmental administrators.
  • May have the opportunity to be involved in work around implementing the new system.
Qualifications
  • Proven administrative experience in a range of organisational and administrative duties.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, to effectively work within a team and to work proactively to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
  • The ability to organise work and time effectively and to cope with changing priorities.
  • The ability to use Microsoft Office computer programs to a high standard.

This post is full‑time (37.0 hours per week) for a fixed term of 18 months, and we are happy to consider applications from candidates seeking to job share.
