An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates and Facilities professional to take a leading role within a respected and forward-thinking educational institution. This is your chance to join an organisation investing heavily in its buildings, infrastructure, and people, creating an environment that inspires learning, collaboration, and innovation.

This is a hands‑on leadership role offering genuine variety, autonomy, and long‑term stability. You'll oversee all aspects of Estates and Facilities Management, from maintenance, cleaning, and security through to compliance, energy management, and sustainability. You'll play a key part in ensuring the College estate operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest possible standards.

2025 and beyond will be an exciting period of development, with capital investment and modernisation projects underway. You'll have the opportunity to shape the College's approach to facilities management, drive operational improvements, and deliver a high‑quality environment for staff and students across multiple sites.

Reporting to the Head of Estates and Capital, you will lead a dedicated Estates and Facilities team – including maintenance, compliance, and soft services functions – ensuring an efficient, safe, and compliant estate that supports the College's strategic ambitions.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Estates or Facilities Manager with strong leadership skills, proven operational management experience, and a track record of delivering high‑quality estates and facilities services.

You'll bring excellent organisational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities, alongside a proactive, solutions‑focused approach. Qualifications in building or services disciplines (NVQ Level 3 or higher) and Health & Safety (IOSH / NEBOSH) are desirable, as is experience managing teams and contractors in a complex, multi‑site environment.

This is a superb opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives on responsibility, enjoys leading people and projects, and wants to make a visible impact across a large and diverse educational estate.
