What you’ll be doing?
- Assist in maintaining the external areas of the hotel and estate to the highest possible standard, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
- Maintain all external areas of the hotel, including paths, car parks, courtyards, gardens and guest approach routes.
- Carry out general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, pressure washing, painting and minor repairs.
- Ensure outdoor furniture, lighting, signage and equipment are clean, safe and in good working order.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as gritting and snow clearance during winter.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns promptly to the Estates Manager.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and in accordance with training and site policies.
- Maintain a professional and approachable manner when interacting with guests or colleagues.
