What you’ll be doing?

You will assist in maintaining the external areas of the hotel and estate to the highest possible standard, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The role involves supporting the maintenance and grounds teams with a variety of outdoor tasks across the property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all external areas of the hotel, including paths, car parks, courtyards, gardens and guest approach routes.
  • Carry out general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, pressure washing, painting and minor repairs.
  • Ensure outdoor furniture, lighting, signage and equipment are clean, safe and in good working order.
  • Assist with seasonal tasks such as gritting and snow clearance during winter.
  • Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns promptly to the Estates Manager.
  • Operate machinery and tools safely and in accordance with training and site policies.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable manner when interacting with guests or colleagues.
