Job summary

Residential Management Group (RMG) is seeking a hands-on Caretaker for our development in Coventry (CV1 1GF). This role focuses on maintaining the estate's external areas, ensuring cleanliness and a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

You'll perform general handyman tasks, assist with planned maintenance checks, and report issues promptly. The position is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM, with our competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Proactive team player with a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or caretaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• General handyman tasks and small repairs across the site.
• Keep communal areas clean and tidy.
• Litter picking, sweeping, and pressure washing as needed.
• Maintain bin stores and manage waste and recycling.
• Clean low-level cladding and lighting.
• Support planned maintenance checks and report issues.
• Use equipment like sweepers and degreasers to maintain car parks.
• Carry out audits and submit reports to the Estate Coordinator.
