Job summary

The City of London Corporation is seeking a Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer to help maintain high standards across housing estates. Working under the Compliance and Quality Assurance Lead, you will carry out inspections, monitor service standards and support fire safety, block security, health & safety and quality assurance.

You should have knowledge of legislation relevant to estate services, including COSHH and fire safety, with experience in estate inspections and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of legislation and regulations relevant to estate services, including health and safety, fire safety in communal areas and COSHH.
• Experience of undertaking thorough estate inspections, managing risks and completing risk assessments.
• Strong written and verbal communication, excellent customer care and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled inspections of estates and blocks.
• Monitor compliance with service standards and report issues.
• Produce inspection reports, raise actions, elevate concerns and contribute to audits and investigations.
• Support continuous service improvement.
