Job summary

Aspire2Be is seeking an Esports Coach to join Warwickshire Institute of Sport in a high performance FE/HE environment at the University of Warwick. The role is a part-time position (4-6 hours) during term time, focusing on delivering esports coaching to Level 3 students and guiding teams in competitive play.

The ideal candidate will have experience coaching or playing esports, a track record of going above and beyond, and hold an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Lead esports gaming provision for Level 3 students.
• Train, prepare and guide students across a number of games.
• Support and prepare students to participate in regular league competitions.
• Team lead esports support coaches.
• Set high performance expectations for yourself and others.
• Undertake other duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Type

Part time role 4-6 hours term time.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead esports gaming provision for Level 3 students
• Train, prepare and guide students across a number of different games
• Support and prepare students to participate in regular league competitions
• Team lead esports support coaches
• Set high expectations for your own performance and that of others around you, contributing to our culture
• Undertake such other responsibilities to ensure optimal efficiency in the day-to‑day running of the institution
