Job summary

A leading escrow and settlement services provider is seeking an Escrow - Business Compliance Analyst to assist with client onboarding for escrow deals. This role involves managing KYC information, liaising with clients and teams, and reviewing documentation critically. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills and a background in compliance or finance, with a focus on M&A transactions. The position is hybrid based in London.

Qualifications

• Understanding of various entity structures is desirable.
• A legal background or prior experience in compliance or client onboarding is beneficial.
• Experience of M&A transactions in a principal or agency capacity is beneficial.
• Experience of finance-related work is beneficial.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for KYC documentation during onboarding.
• Work with Group Compliance to ensure correct KYC information.
• Manage deal onboarding with the escrow team.
• Analyze client ownership structures and perform UBO assessments.
• Conduct PEP, sanctions, and compliance screenings.
• Review transaction documents per standard procedures.
• Handle simple transaction enquiries and correspondence.
