Job description
The Role

Are you experienced in bonded warehousing or customs-controlled environments? This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of ERTS (Enhanced Remote Transit Shed) operations for a busy transport and warehousing business in Marchwood.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating all bonded warehouse activities — from manifesting inbound cargo to managing customs clearance, devanning, unpacking and final deliveries. Acting as the key point of contact between Border Force, HMRC and internal teams, you’ll ensure all cargo movements are compliant, accurate and efficiently handled.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manifest and process incoming bonded cargo through the ERTS system
  • Liaise with Border Force, HMRC and other authorities to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate devans, unpacks and collections in line with warehouse schedules
  • Manage documentation and data accuracy for all inbound and outbound movements
  • Communicate with hauliers, customers and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting
About You
  • Previous experience in a bonded or customs-controlled warehouse environment
  • Good knowledge of customs and border procedures
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proficient with logistics systems and documentation
