ERP Transformation Specialist- Fixed Assets & Stock

VANRATH are recruiting an ERP Transformation Specialist (Fixed Assets & Stock workstream) for an implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. In this assignment you will be responsible for establishing full asset management & process and integration alignment between an EAM and new finance system.

Reporting into a Senior Manager, this is a full time post 5 days per week suiting a senior ERP transformation specialist looking for an ideal opportunity to work on an interim basis for a major programme of work in NI.

Responsibilities
  • Requirement Gathering: Engage with service area stakeholders to capture detailed business requirements specific to fixed assets & stock.
  • Process Mapping: Analyse and document current and future state processes to support system configuration and functional design.
  • ERP Configuration Support: Work closely with the ERP implementation team and vendor to align system setup with defined business requirements.
  • User Engagement: Act as a key liaison between operational teams and the technical project team, ensuring clarity of requirements and addressing issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Testing Support: Design and execute test scenarios, including user acceptance testing (UAT), system testing, and defect resolution tracking.
  • Data Migration: Support data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure clean migration of legacy data to the new ERP system.
  • Change Management: Assist in assessing the impact of change on service users and contribute to training, communications, and transition planning.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain business process documentation, functional specifications, and system change logs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide insight and recommendations to improve business processes using the functionality and automation available within ERP system.
  • Project Delivery: Contribute to project planning, milestone tracking, and reporting. Escalate risks or blockers appropriately.
Ideal Person
  • Applicants must have a degree or post graduate qualification in any discipline
  • Be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, that they have 2 years' (4 years' if criteria 1 is not met) experience gathering and analysing functional requirements for systems or digital projects
  • Strong understanding of order to cash processes and compliance requirements
  • Ability to develop process maps, documentation and user stories
  • A full current driving licence valid in the UK and access to a vehicle OR have access to a form of transport that enables you to carry out the duties of the post
  • Previous experience using ERP systems (SAP)
