Job title: ERP PMO Lead

Salary: £63,900

What you’ll be doing
  • Coordination and performance management of the Air ERP projects ensuring integration of projects, budgets and resources to ensure the programme portfolio delivers required business outcomes
  • Responsible for the strategic integration of ERP Project data and reporting, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
  • Directs the ERP Risk review, ensuring that risks, conflicts & opportunities are effectively managed, in alignment with the DD&I Risk Manager
  • Create and champion a robust Project Lifecycle Management Framework for internal and external customers and users
  • Collaborate with the DD&I PML and PM function to ensure the PM community in ERP is effectively staffed, skilled, and equipped to meet future business challenges
  • Manage the ERP PMO as a high‑performing shared service to the ERP teams, fostering a supportive team ethic, flexibility, and agility in team structure, toolsets, and processes
  • Drive strategic improvement into the Air Project Control system by supporting Project Control Modernisation initiative, delivering effective stakeholder engagement with the Air Centre and the broader COO PM community
Your skills and experiences

Essential:

  • Experience of working in an IT Function in a relevant field within a large organisation
  • Strong PM / ERP implication experience
  • Experience of managing a Project Management Office
  • Significant experience of managing Risks & Opportunities
  • Comprehensive familiarity with IT trends, best practices, and emerging technologies

Desirable:

  • APM qualified or equivalent
  • Relevant IT degree or business degree, experience in consultancy or people management position
  • Relevant vocational qualification or equivalent experience e.g. HNC / Prince 2 Foundation / Computer Science Degree

The ERP PMO Team

An ERP Project Management Office Lead is responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and performance of the DD&I ERP Project Management Office (PMO).

This role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record of establishing and leading high‑performing PMOs, driving project management excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex ERP programmes.

The role holder will exert significant influence on the profitability and effectiveness of the organisation through the strategic management of project resources, governance frameworks, and change initiatives.
