Location: Southampton

Role Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join our client's team on an initial 2-year fixed term contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and maintain the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, specifically Tropos. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in maintaining and supporting ERP systems and will play a crucial role in preparing for a planned system transition.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain the ERP system daily, resolving issues and maintaining logs.
2. Support ERP application users.
3. Understand and support interconnected systems.
4. Provide SQL support and maintain system documentation.
5. Assist in preparing for the system transition.
6. Manage support tickets and contribute to daily operations.
7. Understand manufacturing business processes.
8. Proficient in SQL and SQL Integration Services (SSIS).
9. Familiar with Windows Server OS.
10. Work independently and as part of a team.
11. Communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
12. Apply strong problem-solving skills under pressure.
13. Focus on documentation and system maintenance.
14. Previous experience with Tropos and/or Infor LN systems.
15. Experience with ERP/data migration projects.
16. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Security Clearance: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance required and must be maintained.
