Job summary

McLaren Racing Ltd, a leader in high-performance sports, seeks a Specialist, Finance Business Partner for ERP project. The role designs and deploys ERP processes, ensuring finance requirements are captured and translated into robust controls and reporting.

You will partner across Finance, Operations, Technology and the SI to drive standardisation and business readiness. The successful candidate will combine strong finance knowledge with stakeholder management and a passion for business

Qualifications

• Good understanding of good process and ERP system capability.
• Good understanding of finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) and accounting principles.
• Experience in product ownership, business analysis, or ERP governance.
• Comfort in working in a sprint environment with changing tasks and priorities.
• Exceptional internal business partner.
• Ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commercially aware, able to connect platform decisions to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary finance representative for designated business functions and workstreams.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Procurement, Commercial, Technology and People teams.
• Understand current business challenges, reporting requirements and operational processes.
• Ensure stakeholder perspectives are reflected in the future-state ERP design.
• Participate in workshops and design sessions to gather business requirements and validate proposed solutions.
• Support decision‑making by presenting options, impacts, risks and recommendations.
• Drive adoption of new processes and ways of working.
