Job summary

Soane Britain is seeking an ERP Data and Systems Analyst to safeguard data integrity across SAP Business One and related systems. You will maintain master data, manage imports via DIH, and develop dashboards and reports to support operational decisions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Finance and Operations to improve data quality, enable ERP integrations, and support ERP projects from Leicester offices. Strong SQL and Excel skills, plus experience in governance, are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience managing business data within an ERP environment.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience writing complex queries and reports.
• Experience of ERP master data management, including customers, suppliers, products and transactional data.
• Experience using SAP Business One or a comparable ERP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and manipulation.
• Experience developing management reports and dashboards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A methodical approach to investigating data issues and identifying root causes.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of data accuracy across all business systems.
• Manage data imports into SAP Business One using Data Integration Hub (DIH) and other approved import methods.
• Develop and maintain import templates to support the efficient creation and maintenance of business data.
• Troubleshoot data import failures and validation issues.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports and dashboards.
• Ensure integrations between SAP Business One and external systems maintain data integrity.
• Maintain and administer master data, including User Defined Tables (UDTs) and User Defined Fields (UDFs).
• Monitor data quality, identify inconsistencies and implement corrective actions.
• Promote best practice for data governance throughout the business.
• Work with external ERP partners to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
