Job summary

C&C Group plc is a premium drinks company known for brands like Bulmers, Magners and Tennent’s. We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our People team on a maternity cover basis, based in Wellpark, Glasgow (hybrid).

The role focuses on advising managers across the UK and Ireland on complex ER matters while ensuring policy compliance. You’ll lead ER cases, coach managers, and support organisational change projects, including restructures and TUPE activity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a broad range of ER cases.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation (Ireland experience would be advantageous).
• Experience supporting organisational change, consultation and restructuring activity.

Responsibilities

• Managing complex ER cases from start to finish, providing practical and commercially focused advice.
• Coaching and supporting managers to confidently handle people-related challenges.
• Partnering with HR Business Partners on organisational change projects, including restructures, redundancy programmes and TUPE activity.
• Supporting the development and implementation of ER policies, procedures and guidance.
• Keeping managers informed of legislative changes and emerging best practice.
• Delivering training and coaching to build management capability and reduce organisational risk.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the wider HR function.
