Alan Mitchell Financial Recruitment Ltd advertises an Equity Research Analyst role in London, seeking a recently ACA-qualified candidate to join an established financial services firm. You will analyse company accounts and build models to support valuations and investment ideas, while interacting with management teams and institutional clients.

You will work alongside experienced analysts to develop research capabilities across multiple sectors, with opportunities to contribute to sector

Competenze

ACA qualification within the last two years.
Genuine interest in equity markets and motivation to move into equity research.
Strong accounting and analytical skills and understanding drivers of business performance and value.
Financial modelling and valuation skills, including DCF and comparable company analysis.
Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain conclusions.
Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, collaborative approach.

Mansioni

Analysing company accounts, business performance and industry trends.
Building and updating financial models to support valuations and investment recommendations.
Contributing to company updates, sector reviews and thematic research.
Participating in meetings with company management teams to explore performance and test assumptions.
Supporting institutional client enquiries with research and bespoke analysis.
Working with equity sales colleagues to communicate investment ideas and research findings.
