An educational institution in the UK is seeking an EDI Officer to support the implementation of their People Strategy. The role involves leading EDI communications, supporting various projects, and assisting colleagues with Equality Impact Assessments. While this is a full-time position, hybrid working options are available. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. Interviews are expected on December 15th, 16th or 17th, 2025.
The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Officer supports the implementation of the EDI elements of the University’s People Strategy. As the EDI Officer you will provide support to members of the team across different projects and initiatives, as well as leading on regular EDI communications and events, and supporting colleagues across the University with embedding EDI principles into their areas including undertaking Equality Impact Assessments (EIAs).
This is a full-time position but there may be flexibility to work reduced hours, for example school hours between Monday-Friday. Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 15th, 16th or 17th December 2025.
