Job summary

Smiths Equipment Hire Ltd is recruiting for an experienced 7.5T Equipment Delivery driver for our Burnley Depot. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting equipment to a diverse range of customers and sites, ensuring all jobs are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard of service.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay, 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays, a uniform, pension, and access to wellbeing services.

Qualifications

• Must have UK Manual Driving License, Digi Card, and Valid CPC card.
• Qualified driver with correct industry licensing.
• Manual role requiring physical fitness and loading/unloading duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks and report defects to Fleet Manager.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and collections using delivery documents.
• Carry out duties managing your own jobs and loading goods onto/off the vehicle.
