Overview

Equine Technician Fixed Term until 31 July 2026

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

£24,221 - £26,297 per annum

An opportunity has arisen to join the Easton College Equine Centre as a Technician. This is an exciting time for the Equine Centre as we see continued development and growth. This role will provide practical learning opportunities for students, including demonstrating skills, supervising yard duties, and coaching riding sessions. In addition, duties will include supporting with equine husbandry, record keeping, and health monitoring, exercise, ensuring horses are cared for to the highest welfare and industry standards.

Qualifications
  • Relevant practical (mucking out, feeding) and riding (walk, trot, canter and jumping) experience.
  • Minimum of BHS Stage 3 Complete.

This role will be required to work weekends, bank holidays and during college holidays, covering on-call duties and commercial work on a rota basis.
