A respected educational institution in Norwich is seeking an Equine Technician to support students at the Equine Centre, supervising practical skills and ensuring the horses are cared for to the highest welfare standards. The role requires practical experience, and BHS Stage 3 qualification. The position includes working weekends and holidays and involves coaching and yard supervision.

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
£24,221 - £26,297 per annum
An opportunity has arisen to join the Easton College Equine Centre as a Technician. This is an exciting time for the Equine Centre as we see continued development and growth. This role will provide practical learning opportunities for students, including demonstrating skills, supervising yard duties, and coaching riding sessions. In addition, duties will include supporting with equine husbandry, record keeping, and health monitoring, exercise, ensuring horses are cared for to the highest welfare and industry standards.
This role will be required to work weekends, bank holidays and during college holidays, covering on-call duties and commercial work on a rota basis.

Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
