Towcester Vets is seeking a dedicated Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join the team. The role covers orthopaedic investigations, routine equine healthcare, and emergency cover, with work split between Towcester and Rugby sites in a four-day week.

A degree in veterinary surgery and RCVS membership are essential, with a strong interest in dentistry welcomed. The practice offers a supportive environment with a mix of leisure and competition horses, a well-equipped hospital, and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Qualified equine veterinary surgeon with degree in veterinary surgery.
• Membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) is required.
• Experience in orthopaedics is preferred; an interest in dentistry is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform orthopaedic investigations and diagnostic procedures.
• Provide routine healthcare and emergency care for equine patients.
